The boys Varsity Soccer team beat JP Stevens 5to 2 in the second round of GMC's! Hunter Merrick scored twice, while Alex Infosino, Corey Klaskin, and Dave Durski each scored one a piece. Assists were given by Dave Durski, Andres Carvajal, Mike Mischler, and Justin Thompson.

DECA regional conference fees and registration forms must be turned in by Wednesday, November 6. They will not be accepted after that date.

The Falcon Football Team will 'Tackle Hunger' as they hold a food drive until November 8 to benefit the Jamesburg Food Pantry. In light of the big conference showdown with Sayreville on Friday, November 8, each fan is asked to bring 1 canned good with them as they enter the gates. Students and Staff may also bring donations to school. There is a collection box outside of the gym by the concession stand.

The History Club is meeting on Tuesday, November 12th in room G-306. All students assisting the veterans for the Veterans' Day assembly must attend. Bring your interesting historical facts for the month of November to the meeting. See Ms. Granett with any questions.

The test will be held on Wednesday, November 20th at 8 a.m. in the Media Center. The sign-up sheet is located in the College and Career Counseling Office. The deadline for signing up is November 15th. For more information, please see Mrs. Stasi in the Senior Option office located inside the media center.

THE NEWSPAPER CLUB IS SELLING TRICK-OR-TREAT BAGS IN ALL LUNCHES THROUGH TODAY. SEND A CANDY GRAM TO A FRIEND OR YOURSELF! The club is ALSO AUCTIONING OFF TWO ED SHEERHAN AND TWO PARAMORE TICKETS. WINNERS WILL BE DRAWN ON FRIDAY, November 1. SEE MS. SPEIZER OR A JOURNALISM STUDENTS FOR YOUR CHANCE TO WIN. HALF OF ALL PROCEEDS will GO TO ALL CRITTERS RESCUE.

ATTENTION WRESTLERS – the 30-day meeting will be TODAY at 2:10 in the wrestling room.  All wrestlers must attend. The team will complete the Height Measurements for certification and distribute fund raising materials.  Please see Coach Morolda if you have any questions.

FCCLA is having a Halloween Bake Sale on Thursday, October 31 After school outside of room F-130. All proceeds will go to the national outreach program “Share Our Strength”.

Come play a game of chess and challenge your skills.  The MTHS Chess Club will hold its next meeting on Thursday, from 2:20 to 4:20 PM in room F327. Even if you do not know the rules of chess – they will teach you.

The girls varsity tennis team concluded its season last Monday with a 4-1 win against South Plainfield.   The team finished second in the white division with an impressive 16 and 3 record.  Special Kudos go out to seniors AShley Fleming, Katie Dutton and Manika SAxena.  Coach Marmorek extends A big “thank You” and congratulations to all the players for their hard work and dedication in making this a most successful year.

NHS TUTORING is now being OFFERED from 2:10 to 3:10 EVERY MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY in the media center. There are tutors available for any subject, and they will stay even beyond 3:10 if you need extra help.

the Photography club is meeting today after school in Room G-227. All members should attend. Come prepared to discuss and share your photos with the club.

DECA members who want to go to the 76ers field trip and game must see mrs Stapenski by the end of the day to be added to the list. Also, DECA regional conference fees and registration forms must be turned in by Wednesday, November 6. They will not be accepted after that date.

The Mock Trial Team will be meeting TODAY at 2:00PM in room G-206 for students who missed trying out for attorney and witness roles.  The order for this makeup session will be "first come, first serve."  Starting positions for attorneys and witnesses will be announced on Thursday, October 31st at 2:00PM in room G-206.
