Traffic crashes are a major cause of death for children and teenagers.  Nearly a quarter of these deaths are alcohol or drug related.  It is estimated that one out of every 280 born today will die in a crash with an impaired driver.  Help get the message out so that you and your LOVED ONES WON’T BECOME ANOTHER STATISTIC.

Did you know that there are more deaths, illnesses and disabilities caused by substance abuse than from any other health condition that we can prevent?  And we CAN prevent them if we choose NOT TO USE.  The decision is yours, and the time is now.  Monroe Township High School wants all of our students to live long, healthy lives.  Let's join in the fight against drug and alcohol abuse.

THIS WEEK IS RED RIBBON WEEK. Did you know that 68% of all known adult drug users have jobs?  They may work in the garage that services your family's car or in the pharmacy that fills your prescription.  They may drive a bus or fly a plane or deliver your mail or cook hamburgers at the fast food place around the corner.  Someone under the influence at work can put the people come in contact with at risk.  Protect yourself and others by making responsible decisions about drug use NOW.  Choose NOT to use.
