CONGRATULATIONS TO glorianna perotte FOR WINNING THE MOST RECENT PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST. THE THEME WAS “moon”. THE THEME OF THE NEXT PHOTO CONTEST IS “Hot and spicy foods”. please contact ms. dale for detailed contest rules and requirements. ENTRIES must be emailed TO MS. DALE BY 2:00 PM ON MONDAY, FEBRUARY 31. MAKE SURE YOU INCLUDE THE THEME AND YOUR FULL NAME IN THE SUBJECT OF YOUR EMAIL.

National Honor Society is holding a book drive through MONDAY, MARCH 31st. They are collecting gently used or new books of all reading levels. A collection bin IS located in the media center.

FCCLA will be meeting on Tuesdy, april 2 at 2:00 pm in room F-130.  All members must attend

Youth and Government is meeting on Thursday, April 3rd in room G-306. The club will discuss final details for the conference.

Join THE MEDIA CENTER AT ITS next  “Brown Bag Lunch,” on Friday, April 4th.  Share your FAVORITE Comics, Manga, Graphic Novels anD Web Comics . Sign-up in the media center, during your regularly scheduled lunch, AND REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR BROWN BAGGED LUNCH ON APRIL 4.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes will have its Relentless Volleyball Tournament on Friday, April 4th at 7:00 pm in the main gym.  Proceeds will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project and FCA scholarships.  Teams must hand in team name, players and registration money by March 28 to Mrs. Quindes, Ryan Sosnak or Jenna Parisen.

The Monroe Township Public Library is hosting its first “MTHS DAY” for students and faculty on Monday, April 7th from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. stop by and enjoy treats, activities and prizes.  While you’re there, tour the new Studio M, where you can try the 3-D printer, midi keyboard, button-maker, t-shirt press, and the Graffiti Window. All great ways to showcase your creative talents.

Attention Seniors!  Voting is now open for your end-of-year events.  Go to seniorprom2014.mthscs.com and log in with your school ID and password.  Nominate your choice for Prom King & Queen, Prom Song, and Senior Event Chaperones.  All votes must be submitted by 2:00 PM on Thursday, April 10.

Do you want to become more responsible and improve your interpersonal and leadership skills? Then attend FALCON LEADERSHIP YOUTH, or “FLY” Camp on August 7th and August 8th, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.  Lunch and transportation will be provided. This is a great opportunity for personal growth and to meet new people. get a Permission slip from Mr. Fields in Phys Ed., Ms. Basile in the media center, the teacher workrooms, or the district website. Forms must be returned by June 20th.
