Monroe Network News, Friday, 05.01.15, 'B' day


the technology department is pushing out a security update to all student ipads this weekend. you must make sure that your ipad is turned on and connected to the internet during the weekend to receive this update. if not, you will be unable to connect to the school network on monday.

juniors and seniors participating in the Armed Forces Appreciation Day must hand in their “Wounded Warrior” teacher money and order forms to Mrs. Cadott by the end of the day. Please remember that you are to sell 5 t-shirts each.

Congratulations to vivian haas for winninG this week’s Photography club photo contest for the theme “in motion”. The next photo CONTEST theme is “flowers”. Photos must be emailed to Ms. Dale by 3:00 pm on Monday, may 4th. THE NEXT PHOTO CLUB MEETING IS ON TUESDAY, MAY 5 AFTER SCHOOL ON ROOM G-227.

multicultural club will have a MANDATORY meeting on Tuesday, May 5th at 2:20 in room G-343.

Attention Ladies: It is not too late to play powder puff football. Please pick up an application packet from Ms. Schwartz and return it by Friday, May 8th.

Are you creative and would like to show off your talent? Then create a design for this summer’s FLY CAMP “FALCON LEADERSHIP YOUTH CAMP” t-shirt.  Designs must be submitted to Ms. Jackie Puleio by May 15th.  You can email her at Jackie.Puleio@monroe.k12.nj.us, or leave the design in her mailbox in the main office mailroom.

anyone planning to be a cheerleader next school year needs to take a physical. Cheer physicals will be held on May 21 and May 28 in the nurses’ office.  Competition and Football cheer tryouts will be held in June. Students without current physicals at that time will not be permitted to try out.

Congratulations to the members of the Winter color Guard on receiving the Bronze medal for placing third at the Mid Atlantic Indoor Network Championships held last Saturday at South Brunswick High School.

Do you want to improve you leadership and communication skills, learn about responsibility and meet new people? Then You should attend “FLY”, or “Falcon Leadership Youth” Camp on August 6th and August 7th this summer. Busing and Lunch will be provided. You can print permission slips from the mths website or pick one up from Ms. Basile in the Media Center, or Mr. Lee and Mr. Field in the Phys-Ed. Department. permission slips need to be returned to any of the above people by June 20th.
