The senior class will hold a Valentines Day bake sale today and on Thursday, February 11 after school in the commons and bus exit areas.

Senior Options applications for next school year are due to Mrs. Stasi by Thursday, February 11.  Please drop them off in her office in the media center.

Student Council will be meeting on Thursday, February 11th immediately after school in room F-216. All members must attend.

Auditions for the Drama Club’s spring musical “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels” will continue on Thursday, february 11th in the PAC.  Consult the Drama Club bulletin board for details and see Mr. Byrnes for audition materials.

THE SECOND SCIENCE LEAGUE TEST OF THE CALENDAR YEAR IS SCHEDULED FOR THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 11th. To register, PLEASE SEE DR. PANGALOS ANY TIME AFTER SCHOOL IN ROOM F-327. ALL ARE WELCOME.

PROJECT F.U.N is holding a popcorn sale fundraiser through february 11th this week, and again from February 16th through the 19th after school in the commons and gymnasium. The fundraiser will also benefit “LET’S WORK FOR GOOD”, A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION PROVIDing MEANINGFUL AND LASTING EMPLOYMENT FOR ADULTS WITH AUTISM AND DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITES.

Attention Sophomores and Juniors: Do you enjoy reading and discussing literature and Are earning a 90 or better in your English classes? How would you feel about receiving a national recognition for volunteering your time and talent on English-related activities?  You should apply to the newest honors society at MTHS:  The National English Honors Society! An interest meeting will be held on Thursday, February 11 in the Distance Learning Lab, Room G150, at 2:10pm.

Attention Seniors: Jostens will be here on Wednesday, February 17th to accept orders for caps and gowns.

Do you have a new or gently used Prom, Cocktail or Formal dress that you are never going to wear again? You should donate it to Monroe Township High School’s Student Council for the “Falconette Couture Dress Show”. Help make someone’s next prom dream come true with a formal dress donation. The council is also collecting accessories such as jewelry, handbags, shoes, and shawls. Drop off your donations wtih Ms. Schwartz in the G-323 teacher workroom before February 19th.

FBLA’s next General Membership meeting will take place on Tuesday, February 23rd at 2:05 PM in Cafeteria A. There will also be a bake sale in the commons. Please volunteer to WORK the sale and bring in or purchase an item to be sold. snacks and drinks leftover from the Karaoke event will also be on sale selling too. Please email ms dale as soon as possible if you can contribute to or help with the sale. Volunteers should meet in the commons after school on February 23rd. lastly, SAVE THE for another Karaoke NIGHT on FRIDAY, March 18 from 5:00 to 10:00 pm in the Commons.

Spanish Honor Society will be hosting it¹s annual Dance-A-Thon on Friday, February 26th from 5:00 to 10:00 pm here at the high school.  All members and new inductees must attend, but ALL are welcome!  Admission is $15 per student. The club will raise funds for “Operation Smile”, a charity that provides free surgeries to benefit children with cleft lip, cleft palate and other facial deformities. Dance A THon 1st place winner will receive a $100 gift card, and 2nd & 3rd place winners will each receive a $50 gift card.
