the school store is now selling drawstring and sports bags. Both bags can be purchased with the option of personalization and your choice of a monroe falcons logo. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Make-A-Wish foundation.

SPANISH HONOR SOCIETY IS now HOLDING ITS ANNUAL LEUKEMIA FUNDRAISER! DONATE ANY AMOUNT DURING BLOCK 3A CLASSES DURING THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY. THE CLASS THAT DONATES THE MOST WINS A PIZZA PARTY AND THE RUNNER UP WINS AN ICE CREAM PARTY!  THE WINNING CLASS WILL BE ANNOUNCED AT THE CULMINATING DANCE-A-THON event ON Friday, February 28.

Do you want to know how films are really made? Then come meet Filmmaker ryan o'Leary on Friday, February 21 during block 2B. O'Leary is an MTHS graduate and has just completed his first feature Film "The BACKSEAT", a coming of age high school comedy. He will screen part of the film and talk about the production process, what it's like being an independent filmmaker, and anything else you're interested in. pick up a permission slip in room C-156 (across from the nurse's office) and return it by tuesday, february 18.

This year's ONE BOOK READ title is "Thirteen Reasons Why" by Jay Asher. In his book, Asher uses dual narratives to weave an intricate and heartrending story of confusion and desperation that affects the novel’s two protagonists.
