Competition Cheer Tryouts will be held june 3rd through the 5th from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM in the Auxiliary Gym. You must be present on ALL three days. Contact Coach Titus with any questions. Football Cheer Tryouts will be held from June 9th and 10th from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM in the auxiliary gym. You must be present on both days to be considered for the squad. See Coaches Titus or Ballard with any questions. MAKE SURE THAT YOUR Physical IS up to date!

Anyone running for DECA office next school year must pick up an application from Mrs. Stapenski.  All applications are due by Wednesday, May 28. Thinking of joining DECA next year?  Then Come to the meeting on Thursday, May 29 at 2:00 PM in cafeteria ‘A’.   Find out what is required to be a DECA member. Current DECA members should also attend.

There will be a mandatory girls basketball meeting on Thursday, MAY 29 immediately after school in the wrestling room. All players interested in trying out for next season must attend.

FBLA will elect its executive board for next year on Thursday, May 29 immediately after school in Room G227. ALL FBLA MEMBERS SHOULD ATTEND! Please note that Completed applications are required for ALL EXECUTIVE BOARD POSITIONS. Also, to be eligible to run for office members must have the status of Outstanding Member with 55 points or more, which were earned by participating in club events and meetings. Applications are available outside of Room G-227 and are to to Ms. Dale via e-mail or in hard copy by May 27th. Separate applications must be submitted to apply for multiple positions.

CONGRATULATIONS TO DREW DALE FOR WINNING THE MOST RECENT PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST. THE THEME WAS “ANYTHING SUMMER”. THE THEME OF THE NEXT PHOTO CONTEST IS “WORDS & QUOTES”. please contact ms. dale for detailed contest rules and requirements. ENTRIES must be emailed TO MS. DALE BY 2:00 PM ON MONDAY, JUNE 2. MAKE SURE YOU INCLUDE THE THEME AND YOUR FULL NAME IN THE SUBJECT OF YOUR EMAIL. THE NEXT PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB MEETING WILL BE ON TuesDAY, june 3rd AT 2:10 IN ROOM G-227.

The academic team’s end of the year party has been moved to Tuesday, June 3rd at 2:10 in Room G-247. All members may attend!

All library materials must be returned or paid for by Saturday, June 7th. Please return all materials to the Media Center. if the Media Center is closed, you can also bring materials to the main office. please contact the Media Center if you have any questions.

Youth and Government is meeting on Monday, June 9th after school in room G-306. The club will choose officers for next year and announce next year's conference dates. See Ms. Granett with any questions.

Project Graduation is a celebration of your graduation of high school. Graduates will cruise on a luxury cruise ship around New York, seeing such sites as the Statue of Liberty, the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges, and the New York City skyline. There is a delicious buffet, entertainment, digital photo booth, and a DJ for dancing the night away! Permission slips have been mailed home and are also are available on the MTHS website. See Ms. Granett with any questions.

Do you want to become more responsible and improve your interpersonal and leadership skills? Then attend FALCON LEADERSHIP YOUTH, or “FLY” Camp on August 7th and August 8th, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.  Lunch and transportation will be provided. This is a great opportunity for personal growth and to meet new people. get a Permission slip from Mr. Fields in Phys Ed., Ms. Basile in the media center, the teacher workrooms, or the district website. Forms must be returned by June 20th.
