Monroe Network News, Fri 05.22.15, 'A' day


TODAY IS YOUR LAST CHANCE TO “Guess the Vet” during all lunches right outside the cafeteria. The person who gets the most guesses correct will win a WAWA gift card. The cost is $1 per guess. all the proceeds will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project.

Library materials will no longer be checked out after MONDAY, May 25th. The media center requests AlL library materials including books, dvd’s, and magazines to be returned by June 5th. please contact the Media Center staff with any questions.

THE NEXT PHOTO CLUB MEETING- THE LAST ONE THIS SCHOOL YEAR- WILL BE ON TUESDAY, MAY 26 AFTER SCHOOL IN ROOM G-227.

ADDITIONAL Cheer physicals will be held ON THURSDAY, May 28 in the nurses’ office.  Competition and Football cheer tryouts will be held in June. Students without current physicals at that time will not be permitted to try out.

A TEAM OF MTHS VIDEO PRODUCTION STUDENTS PLACED 5TH IN THIS YEAR’S “10 DAY FILM CHALLENGE”. 135 SHORT FILMS FROM 38 SCHOOLS ACROSS THE STATE WERE ENTERED INTO THE COMPETITION. HERE’S A CLIP.

Students wishing to go on the waiting list for leftover yearbooks must bring cash or a money order in the amount of $115.00 to Mrs. Stasi in the media center.  Your name will then be put on the list.  Seniors will take priority.

Attention Juniors: Your senior portraits are scheduled!  You should have received a post card at home with the date, time and confirmation code.  You MUST go to photoappointment.com to confirm or change your appointment. A listing of appointments is also is posted outside the yearbook room.

Project Graduation is a celebration of your graduation of high school. Graduates will cruise around manhattan on a luxury ship, seeing such sites as the Statue of Liberty, the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges, and the New York City skyline. There is a delicious buffet, entertainments, a digital photo booth, and a DJ for dancing the night away! Permission slips have been mailed home and are also are available on the MTHS website.
