Monroe Network News, Friday, 10.30.15, 'A' day


RepresentatiVES FROM SEVERAL COLLEGES ARE VISITING MTHS THIS WEEK. today, Centenary College will be here at 9:00 AM and Widner University at 10:00 AM. a representative from Monmouth University will be in the Media Center at 9:00 AM. STUDENTS WHO MISSED THE NAVIANCE SIGNUP DEADLINE SHOULD STOP IN TO GET A PASS.

The senior class photo will be taken today at 8:00 am in the gymnasium. Senior superlative photos will also be taken that day- you will receive a pass with your appointment time in your language arts class.

Novice Freshmen Field Hockey Members must return their uniforms to Coach Kelley by the end of the day.

Congratulations to kim kraemer, winner of this week’s Photography club photo contest for the theme “books”. the next contest theme is “Bottles”. please email your pictures to ms. dale by 3:00 PM on monday, november 9th. ms. dale will confirm receipt of your email, so if you don’t get a reply, she did not get it!

Come to Chipotle on Rt 18 this Monday, November 2nd between 2:00 and 6:00 and to support the MTHS DECA scholarship and national conference fund. Find a DECA member with a flyer during lunch, take a picture of it with your phone and show it to the cashier at Chipotle.

There will be a meeting for any boys interested in trying out for the tennis team on Tuesday, November 3 at 2:00 PM in room F-325. Please see Mr. Olszewski with any questions.

History Club will be meeting on Tuesday, November 10 at 2:10 pm in room G-345.  All are welcome.  Please see Mrs. Ferrantelli with any questions.

Student ID’s from the October 13th make up session have been received and can be picked up from Mrs. Michalkowski in room F-322.

students interested in trying out for the golf team in the spring should see Mr Kelleher in room f-237 on any B day.

Attention Field Hockey Players:  Order forms are now available in the girl’s athletic team room and in the girl’s PE locker room to re-order the clothing items we originally ordered from “Be Unique Designs” such as jackets, camo-shirt, shorts, etc .  Please return all order forms and payment to Coach Kelley by Friday, November 13th.    -
the Fellowship of christian athletes meets every Thursday at 2:15 in room F-206.  All are welcome.

the world language department offers after school help every Thursday that school is in session. You can get help in Italian, French and Spanish beginning at 2:15 in room F-306. After-school buses are provided.

It’s time to order your yearbook!  Go to www.jostens.com to order.  The cost is $100 until November 13.  The price goes up on November 14.

Erin Seppi has been selected as an All-American Goal Keeper to play with the top 40 women players in the Nation. She will represent the Eastern Region in Raleigh, north Carolina  On Dec. 3rd. Congratulations Erin! We are proud of you!
