Ex-Animo is holding a Bake Sale today immediately after school in the commons. Please buy some treats and support the club.

Art Club is Meeting today at 2:10 in room H-103.

MTHS is starting a new intramural Martial Arts Program.  Interested students should attend an organizational meeting on Thursday, March 10th at 2:15 in the Right Lecture Hall. YOU WILL learn about the program and pick up a permission slip.  Sessions will take place every Thursday starting on march 17th and will run through late May or early June.  All students are welcome and will be credited for attending in this after school activity.  Permission slips must be returned before students can participate.

History Club will be meeting on Thursday, March 10th in room G-345.  All members should attend.  Field Trip permission slips and checks are due at the meeting.

THE next SCIENCE LEAGUE TEST IS SCHEDULED FOR THURSDAY, MARCH 10th. PLEASE SEE DR. PANGALOS ANY TIME AFTER SCHOOL, IN ROOM F327 TO REGISTER IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST TIME TAKING THE TEST.  PREVIOUS PARTICIPANTS ARE ALREADY REGISTERED. ALL ARE WELCOME.

Come see who will be crowned the next Mr. Monroe this Friday, March 11th at 7:00 pm in the PAC. Admission is $5.00. Refreshments and snacks will be for sale. 

History Club is sponsoring an afternoon movie on Tuesday, March 15th at 2:05 pm in room G-345.  They will be screening “Forrest Gump”, a film that chronicles many important events in 20th century American history.  Snacks and drinks will be provided. The screening will end in time for students to make the 4:15 late bus.

the world language department offers after school help every Thursday that school is in session. You can get help in Italian, French and Spanish beginning at 2:15 in room F-306. After-school buses are provided.

ATTENTION SENIORS- TIME IS RUNNING OUT!  Submit your Senior Award Applications to the college and career counseling center before 2:00 PM on Monday, March 14.  To see which awards are available, go to Naviance, click the “colleges” tab, and then the “scholarships” link. If you have any questions, please See your Guidance Counselor.

the next photo club meeting will be on tuesday, march 22nd, at 2:00 PM in room g-227.

Yearbooks can be ordered online at www.jostens.com until May 1 at a cost of $110.  After May 1, you will go on a waiting list for leftover books at a cost of $120.  The waiting list is first come, first served- no exceptions. If you ordered your yearbook, or are not sure if you did, you should check the list outside room C-149 near the commons for your name.
