Monroe Network News, Wednesday, Dec 18, 'A' day


THE ENVIRONMENTAL ACTION CLUB WILL MEET TODAY at 3:00 PM in ROOM F-226.

The Media Center will be closed this afternoon.

Join THE TABLE tennis federation for a rousing round of play on Thursday, December 19 at 2:00 PM in the Commons.  The MTHS Table Tennis Federation meets every Thursday afternoon from 2:00 to 4:00 PM in the Commons.  Play ping-pong and listen to the music.

Key Club is meeting on Thursday, December 19th at 2:15 in the lecture hall to the right of the auditorium.

There will be a mandatory ski club meeting on Thursday, December 19, from 2:10 to 2:30 in room F-315.  All members must attend.  The first trip is on January 3, 2014.

There will be a mandatory boys lacrosse meeting on Thursday, December 19 at 2:15 in the auditorium. Any boy interested in playing lacrosse this Spring must attend.

Wish someone a Happy Holiday by sending them a candy cane!  Order forms are being sold in both cafeterias during all lunches for only $1.00.  Candy canes will be delivered to recipients on December 19.

The next Gay Straight Alliance meeting will be held on Thursday, December 19th at 2:10 in Room G-206.  All are welcome.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes will have its annual Christmas Party on Thursday, December 19th at 2:15 in room F-306.  FCA state director Harry Flaherty will be in attendance.  Refreshments and desserts will be served.

There will be a Junior Class meeting on Thursday, December 19 at 2:10 in room F-342. The class  will discuss prom ideas and fundraising. All Juniors are welcome to attend.

All DECA members going to regionals in January must pick up a permission slip from Mrs. Stapenski as soon as possible. All permission slips are due by Friday, December 20th.

Today’s Challenge Day thought of the day is this: Be the change you want to see in the world.  What would you do if you knew you couldn't fail?

Italian Honors Society will be selling "Reindeer droppings" For a dollar each instead of candy canes for the Holiday Season in the cafeteria. Please support the club by buying some for your self or as a joke gift.

National Honor Society is hosting 'Hump Day Chipotle'  at the East Brunswick Chipotle off of Route 18 on Wednesday, January 8th from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Buy one entrĂ©e and get one free, so bring your friends! Proceeds will benefit “Special Strides”, a local Monroe charity.
