Monroe Network News, Thursday, 11.20.14, 'B' day

ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS WRESTLING THIS SEASON: The Program Meeting is TAKING PLACE TODAY AFTER SCHOOL. Attendance is mandatory.  See Mr. Morolda or the team twitter feed for more details.

Literary Magazine is meeting TODAY after school in room G-205.

All Fall athletes must clean out their sports lockers by 2:00 pm TODAY.  The athletic locker room will be closed to all students at that time until winter sports lockers are distributed.

The next Coffee House will take place TODAY at 6:30 PM in the commons.  enjoy an evening of accoustic music performances. admission is $5. coffee and hot tea will be offered free of charge, and baked goods will be for sale.

Chess Club will meet TODAY from 2:00 to 4:00 PM in Room F-327.  All are welcome.  If you would like to learn how to play, club members will teach you. Bring a friend and enjoy this ancient "Immortal" game of Kings.

Student Council will meet TODAY AFTER SCHOOL. Please make every effort to attend.

Multicultural Club will be hosting its First Multicultural Thanksgiving TODAY at 3:30 PM in Cafeteria “A”. THE CLUB will servE food and beverages from different cultures. YOU CAN PAY YOUR EVENT Admission BY donatiNG to the food bank, DONATING $3 or BRINGING a dish of food.  ALL food donatIONS ARE GOING to the Middlesex County Food Bank.

Congratulations to Kayla Albrethsen on winning last week’s Photography Club photo contest for the theme “Silhouettes”. The Next photo contest theme is “Something Blue” . please email to Ms. Dale by 3:00 pm on Monday, December 1.

DECA is having a mandatory meeting on Monday, November 24 at 2:00 pm in Room G237 for all members going to the regional conference.  You must attend to get your online testing assignment and prep materials.

want to get hypnotized or see your friends get hypnotized? MTHS DECA is hosting World Famous Hypnotist Denny More on Monday, November 24 at 7:00 PM in the auditorium. tickets are $5.00 and are on sale now during lunches. Tickets will also be available at the door while supplies last. Proceeds of  The show will benefit The Seeing Eye foundation.

Underclassmen who have not had their ID picture taken must do so on Tuesday, November 25 between 10:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. in the Media Center.

the freshmen class is holding a bake sale on Tuesday, November 25 after school in the commons. Come support the class of 2018 and get yourself some delicious treats.


and finally,  winter cheer tryouts will be held on Tuesday, November 25 and on Tuesday, December 2 at 2:20 in the auxiliary gym. Anyone trying out MUST have updated physicals. See Ms. Ballard with questions.
