Monroe Network News, Tuesday, Nov 4, 'A' day


FBLA AND PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB WILL HOLD A MEETING TODAY AT 2:10 IN CAFETERIA A. ON THE AGENDA ARE HAUNTED HIGH SCHOOL, THE REGIONAL COMPETITION, FUNDRAISER, AND COMMUNITY SERVICE. ALL MEMBERS SHOULD ATTEND.

There will be a meeting of the Young Science Achiever’s Club today from 2:00 to 4:00 PM in room F-218.

DeCA members who did not turn in their fundraising or their regional conference must do so by 2:00 PM today or bring it to the DeCA meeting after school.

the Field Hockey Team will play in the semi finals of the state tournament at home against Hunterdon Central today at 4:00 PM. Come out and support the team.

Boys interested in joining the Basketball team must attend a meeting on Wednesday, November 5 immediately after school in the main gym. On the agenda are Physicals, Try-outs and other key dates. attendance is mandatory to try out for the team. See Coach Puleio with any questions.

The next Spanish Honor Society meeting will be Wednesday, November 5 at 2:15 on the steps outside the auditorium.

Attention Field Hockey Players:  The second order of apparel is in.  Please pick it up from Coach Kelley in the women's P-E office at your earliest convenience.

Attention Seniors: PLEASE upload your “FRIENDS FOREVER” and “REMEMBER WHEN” pictures for the yearbook. Refer to the sheet distributed in your language arts class for instructions. Please upload your pictures by November 7th.

Due to SPAM attacks, the student email server will be shut down until Monday, November 10th.  Please use eBackpack for transferring files to your peers and teachers.

Ex-Animo is holding a meeting on Thursday, November 13 at 2:00 PM in room F-317. Topics will include Thanksgiving Dinner donation and clothing fundraiser. Also, club members who have not yet picked up a candy box if should do so immediately.


Attention Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors: Are you undecided about your future career goals?  If so, you may want to consider taking the ASVAB test, the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery.  ASVAB is a comprehensive career exploration and planning program run by the military, however, there is no military obligation. The test will be held on Wednesday, November 19th at 8 a.m. in the Media Center. Sign up in the College and Career Counseling Office by November 14th. For more information, please see Mrs. Stasi in the Senior Option office located inside the media center.
