the Academic Team will have the “3-2-1” online competition after school on Thursday, March 26th in Room G-247. It will conclude around 4 o’clock. See you there.

Junior Prom bids are now on sale during all lunches.  You can also buy bids from Ms. Lyons or Ms. Riggi after school in workroom G-323. ALL STUDENT INFORMATION FORMS MUST BE HANDED IN A SEALED ENVELOPE WITH YOUR NAME ON IT WHEN YOU PURCHASE YOUR PROM BID.

The deadline for ordering a yearbook is April 30th. The cost is $105 per book. 90% of the available books have been sold already. Don’t be left out!

Did you ever read something great and wished you could talk to someone about it? well, wish no more: the MTHS Media Center just launched “READ & FEED: Raves, Reviews and Such”. you can find the forum on the Media Center’s website.  go there to talk about some of the great things you are reading. To preserve your privacy, only first names will be used. The forum is also moderated, so inappropriate comments will not be posted.  As George R.R. Martin wrote in A Dance with Dragons,  “A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies, . . . The man who never reads lives only one.”

JOIN THE FALCON LIFE AND FALCON PALS STUDENTS in recognizing World Down Syndrome day on march 31st.  is a global awareness day to recognize people with Down syndrome, and the people who live and work with them. students will be selling mismatched socks for $3.00 a pair during lunches through March 31st. Why crazy socks you may ask? so people ask you about them and you can tell them about Down Syndrome awareness! In addition, Random Acts of Kindness Butterflies will also be sold for $1.00 , which will be displayed in the commons. write down what you have done or plan to do to help make someone else’s life a little better.
