If you have lost anything recently, you should check the lost and found box located by the security desk by thursday, April 28th.  the box will be emptied after that date.

Art Club is Meeting this Thursday, April 28th at 2:10 in room H-103.

National Honor Society is hosting a fundraiser at Yo Fresh this Thursday, April 28th from 2:00 to 9:00 PM. 10 percent of sales will be donated to Special Strides. Anyone can participate, and No flier is needed; just show up and have some frozen yogurt.

French Honors Society will hold its next meeting on Thursday April 28, from 2:15 PM to 2:45 PM in Room F-327.  All are members must attend to maintain their membership status- new members are welcome.

National Honor Society is holding a meeting this Thursday, April 28th, right after school in cafeteria A for current senior members only. This will be the last meeting. The club will discuss important information regarding end of the year events.

Attention all Seniors participating in “Armed Forces DAY”: T-shirt order forms and money must be submitted to Mrs Cadott by this Friday, April 29. Please remember that you are required to sell 5 t-shirts in order to participate in the day.

The MTHS Footlights Club will be performing its spring musical “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels” this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7:00 PM and on Sunday at 3:00 PM.  Tickets are $6.00 for students for this funny, fast-paced musical comedy.

Congratulations to deeksha reddy, winner of the Photography club’s photo contest for the theme “opposites”. the next contest theme is “rainbows”. please email your pictures to ms. dale by 3:00 PM on monday, may 2nd. ms. dale will confirm receipt of your email, so if you don’t get a reply, she did not get it! The next photo club meeting will be on tuesday, may 17th right after school in the right side lecture hall. the club will discuss and prepare for the 2016 haunted high school event.

the deadline to order Yearbooks has been extended. they can be ordered online at jostens.com until May 20th at a cost of $110.  After May 20, you will go on a waiting list for leftover books at a cost of $120.  The waiting list is first come, first served- no exceptions. If you ordered your yearbook, or are not sure if you did, you should check the list outside room C-149 near the commons for your name.

Students interested in running for class council must pick up paperwork from Ms. Drust in the 3rd floor teacher workroom.   Paperwork is due back by May 4th. late papers will not be accepted.

Spanish Honor Society will hold its next General meeting for ALL members and new inductees on Monday, May 9th in the Lecture hall.  you will make nominations for next year’s club officers, so come prepared with your choices. An additional meeting for NEW inductees ONLY is scheduled for Thursday, May 12th in the PAC.  NEW inductees MUST attend both meetings before Induction Night on May 18.

Sign Up now for the first annual MTHS Armed Forces Appreciation Day Volleyball Tournament on Thursday, May 19th right after school. You can sign up 6 to 8 players per team at $5 a player to support Operation Homefront. Please see Mrs. Cadott for a sign up sheet. Forms and money are due by May 13th. Come and Play some volleyball to support a great cause.

the Academic Team will have its end of the year party on Tuesday, May 24th at 2:10 in Room G247. The team will order Pizza, and everyone is encouraged to bring in another small snack to share. You must RSVP to Ms. Abrruzzese by Monday, May 23rd.

Do you want to improve you leadership and communication skills, learn about responsibility, and meet new people? Then you should attend “FLY”, or “Falcon Leadership Youth” Camp, this summer on Thursday, August 4th and Friday, August 5th. Busing and Lunch will be provided. Print the permission slips on the MTHS website, or get one from Ms. Basile in the Media Center and Mr. Lee and Mr. Field in the Phys-Ed Department. Permission slips need to be returned by June 20th.
