CONGRATULATIONS TO KIM KRAEMER FOR HER WINNING ENTRY TO LAST WEEK’s PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST. The theme was “leaves and trees”. The theme of the next CONTEST IS “something blue”. PLEASE E-MAIL ENTRIES TO MS. DALE BY 2:00 PM on Monday, December 2. MAKE SURE YOU INCLUDE the THEME AND YOUR FULL NAME IN THE SUBJECT OF YOUR email. ALSO, THE NEXT PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB MEETING WILL BE today AT 2:10 IN ROOM G-227.

Italian Honors SOCIETY will be meet TODAY after school in room G336. All members must attend.

come play some Table Tennis TODAY at 2:00 PM in the Commons. TableS will be open until 4:15 PM.  Come early and get a table before the rush! Make sure you sign in with Dr. Quest before playing.

Come play a game of chess and challenge your skills. The MTHS Chess Club will hold its next meeting from 2:20 to 4:20 PM TODAY in room F-327. Even if you do not know the rules of chess – they will teach you!

The French Honors Society will hold its next meeting on TODAY from 2:05 to 2:35 PM in room F-327.  Attendance is mandatory in order to maintain good standing in the Society.  Main items on the Agenda are Collection of fundraising monies and THE SECOND Movie Night.  Your attendance is "très importante!"

Gay Straight Alliance is meeting TODAY at 2:10 in room G-206.  All are welcome.
students interested in trying out of for the Boys Basketball team must attend a mandatory meeting immediately after school TODAY in the main gym. See Coach Puleio with any questions.

student council is meeting TODAY after school in room F-216. all council members should attend.

All DECA members must sell hypnotist tickets and turn in money by THE END OF THE DAY. You can submit it during blocks 1 and 2 in Room G-237 or by putting it in Mrs. Stapenski's mailbox in the original envelope.

Attention Seniors: you can Order your Cap and Gown on Monday, November 25 and Tuesday, November 26th during your lunch blocks.

students who currently swim for a team and are interested in representing MTHS at the Middlesex County swimming Championships in February should see Ms Rickert in room F-325 by Friday November 22nd.

The next Jazz Dance Team practice is on Monday, November 25 in the wrestling gym.  Dancers should bring a $50 check made out to “MTHS Jazz Dance Team” for the candy fundraiser.  Dancers will be reimbursed through their sales and will also raise money for the Team.

World famous hypnotist Denny More is coming to MTHS on Tuesday, November 26 at 7PM.  Admission is $5. See a DECA member for tickets or buy them during lunch this Thursday and Friday. Don't miss the funniest show of the year!

Youth and Government is meeting on Tuesday, November 26th in room G-306. All interested students should attend. See Ms. Granett with any questions.

Anyone interested in trying out for winter cheerleading needs to see Ms. Ballard or Ms. Quindes as soon as possible. Tryouts will be held the week after Thanksgiving. Keep watching MNN for more information.

Is there a BOOK that you would like to recommend for this year’s ONE BOOK READ? If so, stop by the MEDIA Center and submit your selection by November 30th.   For more information about the ONE BOOK READ, please contact Mrs. Fekete, in the Media Center.

Challenge Day is coming to mths on December 10, 11 and 12. Admission is on a first come, first serve basis.  Permission slips ARE NOW available in the College and Career Counseling Center.  Students must return the permission slips to the College & career counsling center by December 2.

the DECA online testing schedule is now posted on the bulletin board outside Room G-237.  Your block and time cannot be changed.  If you do not show up on your scheduled day and time you cannot continue to the conference in January.  Only absentees who are on the official school attendance sheet will be allowed to make up the test on December 12.

and finally, Congratulations to the members of the Marching Band and Color Guard on being named the 2013 US Bands Group 2A New Jersey State Champions. This is in addition to their recent National Championship and is the first State Championship in school history.
