Monroe Network News, Tuesday, Nov 12, 'A' day

Art club is meeting today 2:00 in room H-103.  All members are asked to attend to help paint the “Zombie Apocalypse” set for the "Zombie Apocalypse."

The History Club is meeting after school today in room G-306. All students assisting the veterans for the Veterans' Day assembly must attend. Bring your interesting historical facts for the month of November to the meeting. See Ms. Granett with any questions.

the Young Science achiever's Club is meeting today at 2:00 PM in room F-218. the Fundraising candy is ready for pick-up, and a hands-on science activity is planned.  The club will also finish the movie started at the last meeting if time permits.

DECA is having a meeting today at 2:10 PM in Cafeteria B for students who registered for the regional conference.  You must check your registration by Wednesday, November 13. Copies of the registration are posted on the bulletin board outside room G-237.  Any mistakes you do not report cannot be corrected after November 13.

Showcase your talents during "the open mic" session and hone your skills during the writing session. Learn how to "freestyle rap" during the closing freestyle circle. Check out the meeting after school on Wednesday, November 13th in room G-346.

THE ENVIRONMENTAL ACTION CLUB WILL MEET THIS Wednesday, November 13 AT 2:10 IN ROOM F-226. The club WILL WORK ON PSA PROJECTS, ENVIROMOBILE POSTER, AND PLAN FUTURE EVENTS. PLEASE BRING YOUR NOTES AND IDEAS FOR THE PSAs.

girls soccer players must attend a mandatory end of the season meeting on Wednesday, November 13 at 2:10 in the wrestling room. You must Bring both clean uniforms clean and empty out you fall sport locker by November 13.

the MTHS Table Tennis Federation will meet on Thursday, November 14, at 2:00 PM in the Commons for free play and a Tournament. tables will be available until 4:00 PM.  Come and have a smashing good time!

Students interested in applying to the Middlesex Arts High program must submit their applications by Friday, November 15th. please see Ms. Bulkley in the Graphic Design room G156 with any questions.

DECA members must pick up their hypnotist show tickets on Friday, November 15. all members must sell tickets to remain in the chapter.

Victoria Zaorski competed in the sectionals for gymnastics on Saturday, November 9th.  She placed 12th on the floor routine and 6th place on the balance beam.  The entire gymnastics team is very excited and proud of her accomplishment.  Way to go Victoria!

Congratulations to the Marching Band and Color Guard for winning the US Bands Group 2 National Championship in Allentown Pennsylvania last saturday. The Marching Band placed first out of 24 Bands in competition, receiving a school record score of 95.613 and also the award for Best Overall Effect.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes will be hosting its first annual “Relentless Volleyball” Tournament on Wednesday, November 20th, at 4:00 pm in the main gym.  Teams will be formed with 5-8 students.  Each player must pay $3 to participate.  Prizes will be given to the winning team and the best dressed team.  Please contact Ms. Quindes in room G314 to sign up, or FCA President Ryan Sosnak.

student council is meeting on thursday, november 21st after school in room F-216. all council members should attend.

The College and Career Counseling Center will be hosting a field trip to the Historically Black College and University College Fair on THURSDAY, November 21 at Raritan Valley Community College. Interested students can sign up in the CCCC office.

Challenge Day is coming tp mths on December 10, 11 and 12. Admission is on a first come, first serve basis.  Permission slips will be available in the College and Career Counseling Center starting thisWednesday, November 13.  Students must return permission slips to the CCCC by December 2.
