Deca finalists who
did pick up the state conference paperwork must see Mrs Stapenski today. There
will be a brief meeting immediately after school on Monday for all finalists
and state written paper events to discuss getting to nationals in Orlando.

The History Club is
meeting on Monday, January 12th in room G-305. To celebrate Martin Luther King
Jr. Day the club will watch a documentary about his life. All students are
welcome.

boys interested in
trying out for the tennis team this spring must attend a meeting after school
on Monday, January 12. The meeting will be held before off-season
workouts in room F-315. Attendance is mandatory unless you are involved
in a winter sport. See Mr. O with any questions.

Congratulations to
Samantha Felix, winner of this week’s Photography club photo contest for the
theme “candlelight”. The next photo CONTEST theme is “windows”. Photos must be
emailed to Ms. Dale by 3:00 pm on Monday, january 12. The nexT photography club
meeting is on tuesday, january 13th immediately after school in room
g-227.

Auditions for
Show Choir will be on Tuesday, January 13 AND on Thursday, January 15.
Please sign up for a slot outside of the Chorus Room. Music is
available there as well. Please note that the audition also includes a short
dance piece.

The next FBLA
meeting will be held on THURSDAY, January 15, AFTER SCHOOL in the Left Side
Lecture Hall. The club will discuss Regional Competitive Events and the KIT KAT
Fundraiser AND also distribute KARAOKE TICKETS. PLEASE See Ms. Dale with any

sale for the Drama Club’s Murder/Mystery Dinner Theatre productionS ON January
22nd and 23rd. Dinner is at 6:00 PM and the show STARTS at 7:00 PM.
Tickets COST $12.00 and can be purchased from any cast member or Mr.
Byrnes. PLEASE NOTE THAT Tickets must be purchased in advance –
YOU CANNOT BUY AT THE DOOR.

Islanders for Professional and Community Advancement is seeking qualified
applicants for its 2015 Scholarship Program. nineteen $2000 scholarships and
five $1000 scholarships will be awarded this year. Please note that You do not need to be of Asian Pacific
