taken this Friday, October 11th at 8:00 am in the gymnasium.

This year’s opening Brown Bag Lunch is READER'S
CHOICE- discuss any book, article, magazine, genre, or topic you want. If you
are not sure what the Brown Bag Lunch is all about, stop by the media center, check
it out and sign up. Then on October 16th, bring your lunch to the Media
Center during your scheduled lunch block to discuss any reading material that
you want. See the Media Center staff if you have any questions.

Want to shred some gnar with the Roon-dog, Jessop and
Tolboom? Do you want to beat Mrs. Puleio or Mrs. Mackenzie down the
mountain? Then come to the ski club meeting on Thursday, October 24, from 2:10
until 2:45 in room F-315. All new and returning members must attend.

students interested in trying out for Winter Sports
must see the nurse by October 25th to get paperwork and make an
appointment. Physicals will be given on October 31st. Even athletes who already had a physical must
get an update.

The boys Varsity Soccer team improved its record to 6
and 3 by beating Piscataway 8-0 last Thursday. Scorers were Brandon Cherney,
Juston Thompson, Mike Mischler Aaron Fawzy, Aleko Vastardis and John Cosenza,
with assists from Alex Infosino, Corey Klaskin, Alex Fernandez, and Andres
Carvajal. The Falcons have their next game today at 4:00 at St. Joseph’s High
School. Come out and support the boys.

Come out to support the lady falcon soccer team as
they take on JP Stevens tonight at 6:00pm on the stadium field. they will be
celebrating the class of 2014 for our senior night.

Student Council would like to send a special thank
you to Coach MacKenzie and the soccer team for helping set up for the
Homecoming Tailgate.

Congratulations to the members of the Falcon Marching
Band on placing first at the Yamaha Cup held at Giants Stadium this past
Saturday. In addition, the Marching Band received awards for the best visual,
music, percussion and color guard.
