FBLA EXECUTIVE BOARD AND COMMITTEE APPLICATIONS ARE DUE TO MS. DALE IN ROOM G-227 BY 2:00 PM today. ELECTIONS WILL BE HELD ON THURSDAY, MAY 19, AFTER SCHOOL IN THE LEFT SIDE LECTURE HALL. ALL FBLA MEMBERS SHOULD ATTEND THIS IMPORTANT MEETING!

The “Salute to our Armed Forces and the Honoring of Our Veterans” CHOIR CONCERT will TAKE PLACE on Monday evening, May 16th at the MIDDLE SCHOOL PERFORMING ARTS CENTER. Monroe Township Mayor Gerald Tamburro and RETIRED ARMY Brigadier General John P. Rose WILL BE THE KEYNOTE SPEAKERS. Come out to show YOUR support for the brave men and women who serve our country.

FBLA and photo club will hold a joint meeting on tuesday, may 17th right after school in the right side lecture hall. the clubs will discuss and prepare for the haunted high school event.

Sign Up now for the Armed Forces Appreciation Day Volleyball Tournament on Thursday, May 19th right after school. Six to eight players per team CAN PARTICIPATE, AND THE COST IS five dollars PER player. EVENT PROCEEDS WILL support “Operation Homefront”. Please see Mrs. Cadott for a sign up sheet. Forms and money are due by May 13th.

ATTENTION  Seniors: Due to the larger than expected attendance for Senior Prom and the Venue’s room restrictions, table sizes have changed. Therefore, Seniors attending the Prom need to submit a new table assignment list with  14 people per table, as soon as possible.  One form per table is sufficient, and they are due in the main office BY FRIDAY MAY 20th. Forms can be found online under “Class of 2016” information, in the main office, and also at the front tables during all lunches.

the FBLA fundraising basketball tournament is taking place on monday, may 23rd from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. event setup will start at 4:00 PM, and players should check in at 4:45 PM. the tournament will be followed by a $1 free throw contest at 7:15 PM.

Attention Juniors: Senior pictures will begin BEING TAKEN on June 1st. Dates, times, and locations are hung on the windows outside the Yearbook Room C-149 in the Commons. You SHOULD HAVE also received a letter home indicating your appointment. Please contact Normandy Studios with any conflicts.

Monroe Township High School will host its first “Relay for Life” On June 10th to raise money for The American Cancer Society.  The event will begin at 5:00 pm on June 10th and end at 6:00 am the next morning. The organizers are looking for Participants, Cancer Survivors, Caregivers, Event Sponsors anD Volunteers. For more information please contact Mrs. Quindes or Mr. Comey.

Project Graduation is a celebration of your graduation of high school. Graduates will take a cruise around New York city on a luxury ship, seeing sites as the Statue of Liberty, the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges, and the New York City skyline. There is a delicious buffet, entertainment, digital photo booth, and a DJ for dancing the night away! Permission slips are available on the MTHS website. See Ms. Granett with any questions.
