The Drama Club will be presenting another “Cabaret Night” on Tuesday, May 31st at 7:00 in the commons.  Come out for an evening of Broadway tunes.  Admission is only $5.00.

Attention Juniors: Senior pictures will start on June 1st. Dates, times, and locations are on the windows of the Yearbook Room C-149 in the Commons. You SHOULD HAVE also received a letter with your appointment. Please contact Normandy Studios with any conflicts.

Students signed up for AP Human Geography next school year should meet Ms. Abruzzese on Thursday, June 2nd after school in the Left Lecture Hall. The summer assignment will be distributed and discussed.

Italian Honors Society is offering senioRS to “LEAVE THEIR MARK” For the first time in this High School, All seniors can leave their handprint on a canvas.  handprints COST $2 each.  Prints ARE sold in the commons during lunches.

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes will be showing the movie “War Room” on Thursday, june 2nd at 2:10 PM in room f-206 . the film is a compelling drama with humor and heart that explores the power that prayer can have on marriages, parenting, careers, friendships and every other area of our lives. Refreshments and snacks will be provided.  All are welcome.

Congratulations to vivian haas, winner of photo contest for the theme “reflections”. the theme for the next- and final!- contest is “weather & water”. please email your pictures to ms. dale by 3:00 PM on monday, june 6th. ms. dale will confirm receipt of your email, so if you don’t get a reply, she did not get it! The next photo club meeting will be on tuesday, june 9th right after school in room g-227.

Monroe Township High School will host its first “Relay for Life” On June 10th to raise money for The American Cancer Society.  The event will begin at 5:00 pm on June 10th and end at 6:00 am the next morning. The organizers are looking for Participants, Cancer Survivors, Caregivers, Event Sponsors anD Volunteers. For more information please contact Mrs. Quindes or Mr. Comey.

Project Graduation is a celebration of your graduation of high school. Graduates will take a cruise around New York city on a luxury ship, seeing sites as the Statue of Liberty, the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges, and the New York City skyline. There is a delicious buffet, entertainment, digital photo booth, and a DJ for dancing the night away! Permission slips are available on the MTHS website. See Ms. Granett with any questions.

senior parking applications for next year are now available in Dr. Higgins’ office, room F-223, and on the high school website. students who plan to drive to school at any point of their senior year MUST APPLY NOW.  If you do not have your license yet or do not have a car yet, YOU MUST STILL APPLY by the July 29th deadline. No applications will be accepted next school year.

Do you want to improve you leadership and communication skills, learn about responsibility, and meet new people? Then you should attend “FLY”, or “Falcon Leadership Youth” Camp, this summer on Thursday, August 4th and Friday, August 5th. Busing and Lunch will be provided. Print the permission slips on the MTHS website, or get one from Ms. Basile in the Media Center and Mr. Lee and Mr. Field in the Phys-Ed Department. Permission slips need to be returned by June 20th.
