Science National Honors Society will hold its next meeting on Thursday, May 19, from 2:15 PM to 2:45 PM in Room F-327.  All members must attend to maintain their membership status. New members are welcome.

FBLA ELECTIONS WILL BE HELD ON THURSDAY, MAY 19, AFTER SCHOOL IN THE LEFT SIDE LECTURE HALL. ALL FBLA MEMBERS SHOULD ATTEND THIS IMPORTANT MEETING!

ATTENTION  Seniors: Due to the larger than expected attendance for Senior Prom and the Venue’s room restrictions, table sizes have changed. Therefore, Seniors attending the Prom need to submit a new table assignment list with 14 people per table as soon as possible.  One form per table is sufficient, and they are due in the main office BY FRIDAY MAY 20^th. Forms can be found online under “Class of 2016” information, in the main office, and also at the front tables during all lunches.

the FBLA fundraising basketball tournament is taking place on monday, may 23^rd from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. event setup will start at 4:00 PM, and players should check in at 4:45 PM. the tournament will be followed by a $1 free throw contest at 7:15 PM.

this week is drug and alcohol awareness week. Many people belieVE beer and wine are safer than HARD liquor.  The truth is, Alcohol is alcohol. It can cause you problems no matter WHAT STRENGHT. One 12-ounce bottle of beer or a 5-ounce glass of wine- THAT’S about a half cup- has as much alcohol as a 1.5 ounce shot of liquor.  Alcopops—sweet drinks laced with malt liquor—often contain more alcohol than beer!
