Youth and Government is meeting on Thursday, January
23rd after school in room G-306. The club will determine co-sponsors for bills
and discuss bill writing strategies. All participants must attend. See Ms.

The Drama Club will present its Murder Mystery Dinner
Theatre on January 23rd and 24th in Cafeteria B. A pasta dinner will be
served at 6:00 and the show will start at 7:00. Tickets are $10.00 and
can be purchased from any cast member or Mr. Byrnes. no tickets will be sold at
the door! Come on out for dinner, laughs, and murder.

Tuesday, January 28th during lunch blocks. Please make your
check for 25 dollars payable to Jostens.

FBLA and The March of Dimes come together again for
their 3rd Annual “Karaoke for a Cause” on Wednesday January 29! Come
on out and sing your favorite songs from 5:30 pm to 8:30pm in the Commons!
Ticket donations are $5.00 in advance and can be purchased from any FBLA
member. Tickets can also be purchased at the door for $7.00. If you
have any questions, please see Ms. Dale in Room G-227.

The Falcon L.I.F.E. Program is collecting cans of
food for Deacon's Food Cupboard. Please drop off cans in room C-109 by
Wednesday, January 29th. The Falcon L.I.F.E. Program will also be
collecting winter mittens or gloves, hats, scarves and socks for the
"Sock It To Me" clothing drive. Please drop off all items in room
C-109 by Wednesday, January 29th.

Club Pictures for the yearbook will be taken on
Thursday, January 30th. You MUST have a pass from your advisor in
order to take the picture.

There will a Winter Dance on Friday, January 31st
from 7:00 to 10:00 PM in the Commons. Tickets will be sold at the door for $7
and include admission to the boys basketball game. Snacks and drinks will also
be for sale.

Bank of America’s Student Leaders Programs is
offering two great summer opportunities to juniors and seniors: An eight week
paid summer internship over the summer, and A week long, all-expense paid
summit in Washington, DC . The application deadline is January 31. Please

This year's ONE BOOK READ title is
"Thirteen Reasons Why" by Jay Asher. In his book, Asher uses dual
narratives to weave an intricate and heartrending story of confusion and
desperation that affects the novel’s two protagonists. Join your peers on February 20th at 7:00 PM in the Media
Center to discuss this book. For more information go to the Media Center’s

in the Media Center.
