Monroe Network News, Wednesday, Jan 8, 'B' day


Student Council and Ms. Neues are putting together a video compilation of well wishes for senior Mike Nichols. All students are welcome to stop by the commons this week during “B” Day lunches to leave a message for Mike and his family. Students may come individually or in groups. Please direct all questions or comments to Ms. Neues. Also, a collection for the Nichols family is now being conducted during all lunch periods.  Please drop your contributions into the buckets in both cafeterias.

students interested in participating in this year's Battle of the Bands must attend an informational meeting TODAY at 2:00 PM in room H-108. This meeting is mandatory- If you do not attend, you will not be eligible to participate in the battle. Please see Ms. Williams or Ms. Drust with any questions.

National Honor Society is hosting “Hump Day Chipotle” at the East Brunswick Chipotle off Route 18 TODAY from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Buy one entrĂ©e and get one free, so bring your friends! Proceeds will benefit “Special Strides”, a local Monroe charity.

Ex-Animo will be having an event on Thursday, January 9 at the Milltown Applebee's from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM. 10% of your bill will be donated to Ex-Animo. Proceeds from this event will also go to “Mikey's Nation”, benefitting a young boy who is battling cancer. Ex Animo can pick up more wrist bands to sell in room F-318.

FCCLA will be having a meeting for all members on Thursday, January 9 at 2:00 pm in room F-130.

Italian Honors Society will be meeting on Thursday, January 9 after school in room G-336.  Please bring your fundraisers to the meeting.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes will meet on Thursday, January 9th in room F306 at 2:15.  All are welcome.

Gay Straight Alliance will have a meeting on Thursday, January 9th at 2:10 in room G-205.  All are welcome.
