The cheerleaders will be collecting non-perishable food items for “FOODSTOCK” at tONIGHT’S homecoming game. Bring a donation and get a FOODSTOCK band!

The absolute last day to submit DECA membership forms and dues is Monday, October 20. The last date to register for the regional conference, which is the first step to getting to the international conference, is October 31. There will be no extensions to that deadline. See Mrs Stapenski with any questions or to turn in forms and fees.

Congratulations to Julia Fernandez for winning this week’s Photography Club photo contest for the theme:  PUMPKINS. The next contest theme is: “SOMETHING SPOOKY”. Photos must be emailed to Ms. Dale by 3:00 pm on Monday, October 20. You can still register to be a member of the Photography Club! Forms are located outside Room G227.

The next academic team meeting is on Tuesday, October 21st at 2:10 in Room G-247. They will practice, select teams for the Donovan Catholic tournament, and order team t-shirts.

Seniors Superlative winners are posted outside of room C-149, right off the commons. Come see who won! The superlative pictures will be taken on October 23rd. winners will receive a pass in their language arts class.

Attention Seniors: The senior class picture will be taken on October 23rd at 8:00 am in the gymnasium. It is also time to upload your FRIENDS FOREVER and REMEMBER WHEN pictures for the yearbook. Refer to the sheet distributed in your language arts class for instructions. Please upload your pictures by November 7th.

students interested in trying out for the Boys and Girls Bowling Team must attend a mandatory meeting on Thursday, October 23rd right after school in room G-346. Please see Ms. Grimaldi for more details!

Sit back and enjoy lunch in The Media Center on Halloween, as it hosts its first Brown Bag Lunch of the year on Friday, October 31. The genre for this event is Student’s Choice, and may include the discussion of movies, world issues,  and books. To participate students need to sign-up in the media center and bring their lunches with them on October 31st. please direct all questions to the Media Center’s staff.

N-J-I-T is holding an Engineering Career Day on Friday, December 5 from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM.  Space is limited- please see Mrs. Stasi in the Media Center to sign up.  This program would be of special interests to juniors.

and finally, congratulations to the field hockey team for winning the Division Title with a 2-1 win over Sayreville. The falcons record stands at 15-0-1.
