Monroe Network News, Friday, Oct 3, 'B' day

THE MEDIA CENTER WILL BE CLOSED AFTER SCHOOL TODAY.

The Lady Falcon’s soccer program is serving up pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage and coffee at the Applebee's in Milltown at 324 Ryders Lane  this Sunday October 5th from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM.  Tickets cost $12.00 and will be sold at the door.

Congratulations to Thayz Queiroz on winning the Photography Club photo contest for the theme:  FALL. The Next weeks’ photography Club theme is: STRIPES. Photos must be emailed to Ms. Dale by 3:00 pm today. You can still register to be a member of the Photography Club! Forms are located outside Room G-227. the next Photography Club meeting is on Tuesday, October 7, after school in Room G-227.

The History Club is meeting today after school in room G-305. The club will discuSS club rush and activities for the year. All students are welcome.

ENVIRONMENTAL ACTION CLUB WOULD is INVITing ALL STUDENTS TO ATTEND THE MONROE TOWNSHIP GREEN FAIR AT OAKT REE SCHOOL ON Saturday, October 11TH FROM 10:00 AM TO 3:00 PM. FOR VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES PLEASE SEE MR. TOLBOOM OR ANY MEMBER OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL ACTION CLUB.

Senior Superlative voting sheets are being distributed in your Language arts classes. Make sure to cast your vote online by October 12th!

FBLA will hold a meeting on Tuesday, October 14th after school in Cafeteria A,  for Regionals Event Registration. They will also meet on Wednesday, October 15 after school In Cafeteria A  for Regionals event registration and to decorate for the “Haunted High School” event. Please email Ms. Dale or see her in Room G227 with any questions.

Attention Fly Camp Leaders: If you are interested in manning the FLY Camp Club rush Table please see Ms. Basile in the Senior Options Office or send her an email at Christina.Basile@Monroe.k12.nj.us.  Club rush will take place during Block 3 on Friday,  October 17th.  Posters and Sign up sheets will be needed for the table.

N-J-I-T is holding an Engineering Career Day on Friday, December 5 from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM.  Space is limited- please see Mrs. Stasi in the Media Center to sign up.  This program would be of special interests to juniors.
